ADDITION OF NEW PHYSICIAN
PLANO,
TEXAS – March 24, 2006
– Texas Back Institute (TBI)
is pleased to announce the newest addition to their team, Ronald
De Jong, D.C. He will be practicing in the Plano and
Denton offices.
“We are excited to have Dr. De Jong as
member of our staff,” said Richard Guyer, M.D., spine surgeon
and president of Texas Back Institute. “Dr. De Jong’s knowledge
in chiropractics is a great asset to TBI and its staff of
professionals.”
De Jong specializes in the prevention,
treatment and rehabilitation of spine disorders, especially
personal and occupational related injuries. He has served at
various institutions throughout Texas, including the DFW
metroplex and San Antonio area and is a member of the Texas
Chiropractic Association (TCA).
“Working at TBI allows me to interface
closely with medical providers who genuinely care about the
patient,” said De Jong. “I respect TBI’s higher standard
De Jong received a Bachelor of Science
from the University of Great Falls in Great Falls, Montana
before receiving a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker College
of Chiropractic in Dallas, where he specialized in the diagnosis
and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. He also completed a
comprehensive course in scoliosis correction. De Jong chose
chiropractics as his career path after responding well to
chiropractic care when he was treated for headaches as a
teenager.
As an active member of the community, De
Jong is an assistant coach of a league of 11-12 year old ice
hockey players in Plano and plays in the Old Timer Adult league
in Frisco. De Jong is also active in his church.

research is a step towards impacting the community at large by
taking an integrated approach to back care and treatment,” said
De Jong. “I’m excited to be able to positively impact spine
