BACK INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF NEW DIRECTOR OF PHYSICAL
THERAPY

Texas Back
Institute (TBI) is pleased to announce Catherine Donahue, PT,
MBA, as the newest addition to their team as director of
physical therapy.
“We are excited about the experience and expertise that
Catherine Donahue brings with her to Texas Back Institute,” said
Tom Mitchell, CEO of TBI. “Her 20 years of clinical experience
and managerial background will be an added value to our team.”
Before coming to TBI, Donahue was a multi-site director with
Matrix Rehabilitation. Previously, she served as director of
rehabilitation services for Rehabilitation Care Group at Trinity
Medical Center, and director of rehabilitation services and
occupational medicine at Leland Medical Plaza. Her extensive
work in the health care field also includes experience as a work
injury rehabilitation coordinator for Tom Landry Center at
Baylor Medical Center, site supervisor, out-patient physical
medicine for Baylor Medical Center at Garland and rehabilitation
program coordinator for Medical City Dallas.

Donahue received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
with distinction from Indiana University and her Master of
Business Administration with a management emphasis from Amberton

Donahue is the past board secretary of the Occupational Injury
Prevention and Rehabilitation Society and a member of the
American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical
Therapy Association.
