NEW
PHYSICIAN

2007 – PLANO, TEXAS –Texas Back Institute (TBI) today
announced the addition of pain management specialist Craig
Lankford, M.D. to its staff.
“We
are thrilled about the addition of Dr. Lankford,” said Richard
D. Guyer, M.D., spine surgeon and president of Texas Back
Institute. “Dr. Lankford brings great skill in pain management
to our team.”
Lankford is board certified by the American Board of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation and has additional subspecialty
certification in Pain Medicine. He attended the University of
Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. Lankford completed his
physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Baylor
University Medical Center and most recently concluded a pain
medicine fellowship with the University of Oklahoma Health
Sciences Center. He has guest lectured at the University of
Oklahoma Pain Management Symposium and Baylor University Medical
Center PMR Grand Rounds, as well as at Texas Women’s University
occupational therapy masters program discussing the medical
management of various issues.

Lankford has been active with pre-participation athletic
physicals with Baylor Sportscare, Southern Methodist University,
the Dallas County Community College District and Dallas area
high schools. Lankford has also been a physical supervisor for
area athletic events including Dallas Cup Soccer and the White
Rock Marathon. He is a member of the American Academy of
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Medical
Association.
